Mr. Pieter VIAENE was born in Kortrijk on 20 November 1978.

He attended secondary school at the Sint-Jozefinstituut in Kortrijk, where he achieved in 1996 the diploma Latin-Mathematics. In 2001 he was granted the diploma of Master in Law at the University of Ghent. The following year, he promoted in Maritime Law the universities of Ghent and Antwerp. He gained 5 years’ experience in the transport advocacy in Antwerp and switched in 2007 to VVV ADVOCATEN. Since 2013 he is lawyer-partner in the firm.

Mr. VIAENE specialised ever since his studies in national and international transport and trade law, and therefore manages the transport branch of the firm. Besides this, he assigns himself also to general civil and trade law (lease, contracts…), construction law, liability law, insurance law and traffic law. Mr. VIAENE holds firm in Kortemark and Wevelgem-Moorsele.
